Baqubah Transitions to ‘Hold’ Status, Commander Says

WASHINGTON, Aug. 2, 2007 - Operations in Baqubah, Iraq, are transitioning to the "hold" phase of the "secure, hold, build" strategy, the commander of coalition forces in northern Iraq said today.
