Coalition Crushes Taliban Assault

KABUL, Afghanistan - Afghan and U.S.-led coalition troops killed more than 40 suspected Taliban militants in southern Afghanistan, the latest in a wave of strikes that have claimed the lives of hundreds of insurgents, the coalition said Thursday.
